Circular weaving for a ring

First you need to determine the size of the ring (finger size).
In my tutorials I offer you 5 sizes: 46, 48, 50, 52 and 54 columns, which corresponds approximately to 6.25 - 6.5 - 6.75 - 7 and 7.25 cm ie 2.43 - 2.53 - 2.63 - 2.73 and 2.83 inches), but varies depending on your way of weaving (more or less tight)
The easiest way is to do a test with 3 rows to check the size before continuing

Here is a simple explanation for weaving (it is the same principle as for bangle bracelets):
  1. Make a loop with the beads from rows 1 & 2 (even number)
  2. Make a second row in the classic way, finishing by going back through the first bead added to this row. Leave at least 1 cm of "slack" because the weave will tighten during the row.
  3. For all the following rows, to finish the row, you must insert the last bead by going back through the first bead of the previous row (light green), then through the first bead of the current row (blue). Then continue in the classic way. Be careful with row 4 because if you have tightened the first 3 rows too much, the weave will turn. You must therefore be careful to go back through the beads of row 3 and not those of row 1. Check that there is no twist in the weave before completing row 4.

Same process in double or triple peyote by taking the beads 2 by 2 or 3 by 3.

For example, try a white bead and a black one. Having the first row in a different color makes row 4 much easier to do. If necessary, you can even remove the first row at the end if you don't want to keep it.

Here is a short video made by perles and Co which shows this for a bracelet:
